I find myself less interested to go to BH even though I truly believe that it serves the best clubbing environment that might ever exist. I really like the music (especially in Pano) and I have talked with some of the most interesting people in here. However, I feel like the way everyone talks about Bh in a weird mystical way and its hype on social media etc. kinda ruined what techno clubs were meant to be in the first place: Spaces where you would go to escape society with its norms and discriminations. While a lot of queer alternative club events here in Berlin have what I would call a natural door selection in the sense that only ppl that are truly part of the queer community etc. would even consider going there, BH has attracted a huge crowd of straight tourists, ppl that want to go there simply to show off they went to BH and so called "Stammgäste and Guestlist" elites. I know not every Kn is the same and it really depends on the crowd that night, but I fear very often the crowd inside just seems very snobby. The very long queues and sometimes quite rude door policy (and bag checks lmao) would not be such a downside of Bh if it wasn't considered to be this "mystical temple of freedom" but rather what it simply is "a queer club". I sometimes wished BH was not as popular as it is, not because I want to gatekeep it, but because I believe it deserves to have the carelessness and ease a lot of the smaller/less popular events have.
