A place to call home

I'm sharing this in hopes of reaching people who understand the challenges of caregiving and neurological illness. My husband lives with significant neurological and cognitive symptoms related to repeated head trauma and is on disability. As his primary caregiver, I balance his care while working full-time from home, and it's become increasingly difficult financially. We currently live in an RV and have to come to find out that it does actually make his symptoms worse. We are diligently working towards getting an actual house so he has more consistency and comfort. Our daughter recently started a GoFundMe to help us work toward a more stable future. If you're able to donate or simply share our story, we would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Please share…

I normally keep personal matters private, but I wanted to share something meaningful our daughter recently did for our family. But the more we struggle the deeper we get.

After seeing the ongoing challenges that come with my husband’s neurological health struggles — and the realities of caregiving and financial hardship — she created a GoFundMe to help us work toward a more stable living situation and better quality of life.

As many caregivers know, balancing work, medical needs, and daily responsibilities can become overwhelming over time. Her compassion and initiative have meant a great deal to us.

Whether through sharing, encouragement, or support, we are sincerely grateful to everyone who takes a moment to read our story.
