BOUNDARIES

My biggest gripe in the sims is how rooms mean nothing! strangers in my child’s room, strangers in my bedroom, someone eating pizza in the bathroom.
I honestly refuse to have computers or tv’s in bedrooms because of this.

Watching the Paralives 45 minutes of Gameplay has me so hyped and all the bugs/animation glitches isn’t a turn off in the slightest. It’s the parents in the child’s room DAD? MOM? GET OUT!!!! The lack of boundaries drives me insane, as a kid my bedroom was MY bedroom! Anybody ruining my vibes was going to be well aware.

I know in the sims they implemented bed ownership or locking doors for specific sims but that’s such a cheap workaround. I don’t want parents using my kids stuff but I also don’t want them locked out, they should be able to check on their kids, read a story etc. it would be sooo nice if something was implemented to address this. Like owned rooms where only the owner could use the stuff inside and everyone else was soft locked from using?

It would be a dream to be able to title rooms for its intended purposes and who’s granted access/owns. That would fix the pizza bathroom parties lol and make para actions seem more world aware. I know nothing about game design so have no idea how hard that would be especially since the world seems so editable.
