Why so many no-life neckbeards in discord shilling blizzard and doing their best to scare new players away? Surely i can't be the only one who noticed this. theres a good half dozen who do this all day 24/7.
If radio silence is how Asc admins treat their projects that they take over that had some stunning reworks and unfinished stuff that tens of thousands enjoyed then why tf would i play or pay or volunteer for any of the other servers if the objective is to funnel players into bronze or coa? Could at least make an attempt to integrate, add PR or put some official support on it but its hidden from client server list and changelog, and all this other stuff.
They say the core is a mess but what I see is mostly bug-free with a few balance issues, bugged talents and short aggro range broadly of all mobs, which are a lot more narrow issues than "the entire core". They say its unmonetizable but it really is monetizable if you don't enroach on F2P's experience by giving payers an advantage over them.
There is no way that I will believe it is less expensive to keep up the shopfront for passive income than it is to just not have one at all. what's costing them money there? they already have a website and payment processor.
This place came a long way since having a 11000 player flawed launch during TWow height time into some beautifully reworked dungeons, great, albeit flawed PVP system and extra difficulty.
The application to be a volunteer is ridiculously long and this is not great motivation to finish it and try to work for this team using my free time. But hey, i'm expecting roses from a pirate server so meh. You could say i'm owed nothing from them if you're trying to be pissy but if the double edge sword is wasting some really great potential then who really lost?
I'm hearing news that the game might be turning around from its stagnation.
How hard is it for somebody who hasn't played since Nexon and the corporate simps lost the lawsuit? Every clip of this game such as from Repoze and other youtubers I saw everyone playing frame-perfect hyper sweaty and one shotting peeps or having an entirely naked character being superior to someone clad in gear that took a lot of effort and winning (not fun) and similar unbalanced cheese. what's it like now, is a lot of stuff still broken?
