Accidentally cut AIO cooler’s aRGB cable

Was cutting the zipties in the back of PC and accidentally snipped the aRGB cable, is it fine to just cut it, put electrical tape over it and leave it disconnected? I dont really care for the RGB, fans spin fine and all.
