Alternative e-readers?

I am brand new to e-reading in general and I bought my xteink X4 (my very FIRST e reader) about two weeks ago and already, I’ve finished 5 books. But I realized that my extended reading periods have caused me to develop a hand cramp twice now from holding such a small device. Before you ask, I have tried different holding methods including my pop socket, but my hands still cramping.
Now that I know I’m committed to reading often, I wanted to see what other (bigger/normal size) e reader would be a good fit for me? I use crosspoint firmware and so far have only used epubs.
I was looking into a kobo or a bigme, (definitely not kindle) but am hoping others may offer some suggestions or something similar to the xteink that you think may work for me? TIA!
