Wine and cheese

Good afternoon, is there anywhere in Negril to drink wine/spirits and get a charcuterie board? I wouldn’t mind paying for a private one but I don’t want someone to charge me premium dollars for crappy cheese and meat selections. Thanks in advance.

Luggage storage

Good afternoon,

My husband and I had an original plan of staying in Montego Bay for a night so we could do the luminous lagoon tour and then transport to Negril. I’m wondering if I should bother.

Right now this is what our itinerary looks like

Arrive to Montego Bay at 12pm
Check into hotel, explore San sharp square, then go to our scheduled tour that evening. And next day have a driver take us to Negril.

Spend 6 days split between Negril and west end.

Have a driver take us to Montego Bay day before our flight and fly out the next day.

Now I’m wondering if it would be easier on the front end to just hire a driver who can hold on to our luggage take us to luminous bay and transport us that same night to our Airbnb?

this page has been very helpful in planning this trip and a big thank you to everyone who reached out to me in my messages to offer assistance.

TLDR: would it be easier to hire a driver that can hold our luggage and drive us to our lagoon tour and then to negril the same day we land Vs staying the night in Montego Bay.

Kayaking

Good evening,
Does anyone offer kayaking tours? If not a tour just a place I can rent a kayak? Not the clear kayaks for photos just regular kayaking down a river? My husband and I would love to do that.

Thank you!

8 days in Jamaica

Hi! My husband and I are coming to Jamaica in August. So far we’ve booked flights and are looking to book places to stay.
We’ve sort of decided to stick to the western side since it’s likely to have less sargassum, but we are realistic in what to expect. We’re wanting to do a combo of beach and “inland” to access waterfalls, local flora and fauna.
So, we’re at Negril for beaches for 4 days and unsure for the other 4 days. Ideally, we want to do it in a way that makes us closer to Montego Bay on the back end so transport is easier when going to the airport.
We'd love recommendations on boutiques/guesthouses owned by locals? Local tour guides? Even better if they also have a private driver setup? I did search the subreddit but it was so much info and my keyword searched were not narrowing it down enough. Thank you.
