Maintaining/growing pet sitting business

Hi!!

I have had a pet sitting business for 4 years now and a new mom. I want to keep growing my business and create a team that is successful! I use to do overnights but am thinking about transitioning out of it or having select clients that really need it due to pets needing extra care.

My main problem is finding the correct individual to fill these spots especially because most of them work finding the right schedule for pets and person. I want to be able to train and create a strong team that are confident in taking care of any pet. How do I go about finding the correct pay rate and service prices that make everyone happy(especially my team) while also making money for the business and myself. I want to be able to somewhat step back in services and do more of the backend things.

24 weeks and 6 days pregnant

I’m a 30 year old who is having an unplanned pregnancy. We never thought about having a child and would always joke about people who do have kids and I feel like we got jinxed. I’m 24 weeks and 6 days and I’ve been on and off about abortion. obviously I’m too far along especially living in Florida. The father is awesome, but mentally I’ve been in a shit headspace most of the time I think this pregnancy is not real. I’ve been honestly blessed with no symptoms other than feeling chunky and nothing fitting. I have a business that requires me to travel a lot and stay at homes which now I’m starting to realize that’s not going to be a thing anymore. We are also not in the best financial situation but own a home that is plenty big if were to bring a baby in. I’ve been just mentally not ready for any of this and we have never been people who celebrate our birthdays, plan things and just go day by day.

A lot of times I wish I would have gotten an abortion sooner but the father kept telling everyone and I also think I was in a shock and again didn’t realize this was actually happening. I‘m scared for the aftermath and just in general having this baby and what the future will look like. I’ve been reading a lot of Reddit threads and just again in a negative headspace about this all even though I have a great support system. I just came on here to write it out and vent and hope there are others out there that have experienced similar or are going through a similar situation.
