Are high digital tarrifs inevitable?

Are high digital tarrifs inevitable

Currently the global trade of services is double the rate of global trade of goods.

The compounding effect will be very huge.

However, this is dominated by a few countries,

So my theory is that eventually when global trades of services will become higher than goods .

I think for many countries globally around the world it will cause large trade deficits which is the reason why tarrifs are implemented.

So I think digital tarrifs will rise around the world. Currently the world focuses very less on digital services because its 5 trillion compared to 25 trillion in goods.

The EU is already planning a 2 to 3% digital tarrifs. That I think is the start of it. Initially low

Like normal goods it will go to 10% or 20%

How will world trade work in the future when all economies either become upper middle income or developed nations ?

How will the world trade work when all countries become upper middle income or advanced economy

My question is currently the world works in neo colonization way where the countries with lowest wages manufactured cheap goods like t - shirts etc

However eventually every country will become upper middle income ( either stuck in middle income trap ) or become a advanced economy where at that point the wages become too high to manufacture cheaply.

So when that happens how does it work ? Will it be automated entirely and if thats case why havent advanced economies automated this to capture the value chain like how automobiles are ?

I am also curious to know since advanced economies work in a way where there corporations go to developing countries and capture most of profits ⛓️. But once it's automated there will no need to go to developing countries to manufacture this.

So in that case the countries with the lowest wages ( those which stuck in middle income trap ) will have less to export and since they clearly don't ip and multinational corporations who work outside their country to bring enough forex

And since almost all cheap goods can be manufactured in advanced economies so I really think that middle income trap nations will have nothing they can export ( facing a trade deficit they cant sustain )

Except if they have natural resources

Mumu is no longer working at snowbreak

Context: The profile shows his tenure at Xishanju for the game Snowbreak: Containment Zone ended in June 2026 (2020.10–2026.6).

Tho it's still not confirmation of where will snowbreak go from here on now

This could just be resignation or it could mean dismantling of entire snowbreak team.

Why does Italy have a high per capita than south korea?

This question came to my mind.

South korea dominates highly valued productive sectors like semiconductors, tech , electronics and industries of the future

Where as Italy is mainly known more for their tourism , and manufacturing which can't be as productive as semiconductors, tech , electronics and highly innovative sectors

So then when is italy gdp per capita is higher than south korea

The reason why usa is ahead of europe is because of its tech sector ,

So why is south korea gdp per capita not way ahead of italy ?
