I've been wanting to build an ATB/touring bike using the bridge club whipped butter color frameset. Unfortunately, these are all sold out online and at my local bike shops....

I was wondering if anyone know usually what time of the year Surly releases new batch of bikes. I know conventionally new bikes are released in spring/summer for many bike brands, but I was hoping if I should expect a new batch of bikes (hopefully including BC framesets) this summer? Any insights would be appreciated!

I am a straight man in my mid to late 30s, I have three hobbies i enjoy which are biking, watching/playing sports, and drinking beer. Seattle has a great bike scene, especially social ride groups, but no one I've met like all three of my hobbies together. Men in their mid to late 30s with kids don't have the time to do all three with me, whereas the ones in their 20s have the time but have no interest in watching sports after/before riding around the city.

As a sports fan (especially basketball and international soccer), this summer is going to be a blast with the NBA playoffs, WNBA starting, and the World Cup.

If anyone know of a group that may be interested in riding a bike around seattle then watch a game and have a beer or two, please let me know, I'd love to join. If I get a sense that there is a demographic who may be interested, I may start my own ride.
