Prior army looking to hopefully be a pilot one day
I 20m am a prior army infantry man I was discharged late last year for height and weight failure after I got out I figured out how much of a fat pig I was and lost all my weight approx 320lbs ---> 175 current in about 6 months . I always dreamed of being a pilot and I feel like now is the best chance I will ever get to go to college and try to make it a reality. I just need help making a reasonable timeline for myself and also have a few questions for anyone that's been in a similar spot to me
I am now applying to colleges I hope to do my first year and apply to ROTC and go that route to earn my commission . Would this increase my chances at all of getting a rated job upon commission? And would this be possible/ reasonable for me to do after what happened to me in the army ?
