Skim coated wall cracks?
First timer here.
I skim coated half of this wall and only this one section is cracking like this. About 4 inches by 4 inches section.
It is where the skim coat ends and the previous painted wall starts.
This cracking started after I put a coat of primer on the wall. It seems that it is pulling away from the wall.
Where did I go wrong?
What is the best course of action to fix this?
My thoughts are to try and sand it down, but not sure if that will make it worse.
