was thinking tonight about how he's such a good lyricist/songwriter

was thinking tonight about how he's such a good songwriter

so I was just thinking about General Admission and his rap days. While I wasn't following him back then (I started in 2022) i listen to his rap songs and I still feel the emotions behind it. Like, it's kind of timeless that way. That a girl from a working-class neighborhood in california can listen to Midwest rap and relate to it? crazy. He's so crazy for being such a good writer. i say that affectionately! edit: and it's just technically amazing in the literal sense of being good/skilled/talented rap. it's not an opinion it's kind of a fact lol

My favorite song ever of his (if i had to PICK ONE) is Kiss The Sky. Then I really like Bloom because i think it's his magnum opus, and has some really good stuff like 27 and pop-rap tracks that are "just for fun." and...i just realized Kiss the Sky is on Bloom. I think Lost Americana is also a contender for magnum opus.

Then my favorite lately is Lockdown Sessions,

Then Hotel Diablo

Last winter some shit happened, a lot of shit, health and legal issues at the same time, and Lost Americana was a bright spot in that. i remember listening to goddamn and tell me what's up a lot.

he is so good and writing and I just wanted to appreciate that with other fans 💙 EST

fanart!

I made these on Pinterest. I had an account before and I think I posted these before, but I deleted my reddit account. I'm the same person who posted them originally. I think I really captured the vibe!
