I’ve noticed this with Zenith, CDN Extrait, Riffs Freeze, Obsidian French Avenue + many more, do these companies just think we’re dumb, are they mislabeling, or do they just create a strong DNA and call it a Extrait? For those who don’t know Extraits don’t project near as loudly as lower concentrations like EDP and EDT but in return last longer, not a huge deal but for somebody like me I always check the box. Seems like they think instead of a classification their using it as a Buzz Word sort of like “Elixir” was the past couple years

Scent - 8.9/10 opens with a HEAVY cade oil (smoky resin like smell for those who don’t know) a nice blast of spices from the cardamom and a slight boozy tinge, within 45 mins that changes to a nice light black coffee and leather with more of that smoky resin smell coming through, as it fully drys down you get a thick vanilla and rough wood which slightly resembles oud. This is a fragrance for if you like super DARK scents and want to make a statement, I’d imagine Batman wearing this

Longevity - 10/10 rarely give fragrances a 10 especially on longevity but this bad boy I could smell on my skin after spraying 19 hours later, even when washing off in the shower could smell it from the heat of the water. Projects nicely too for a good 4 hours which is on the far end

Overall Cop Or Drop? Even though it’s summer I’d have to say cop, it’s dark and mysterious and very resin heavy with a good amount of smokiness, I can see why this has mixed reviews some people just simply can’t pull off a super dark scent and that’s fine. This is definitely going to be worn on mid cool summer nights

Similarity to OG - 95% this is as one to one as you can get with it being better and slightly fresher

Scent - 9.4/10 if you’re living under a rock and haven’t tried the most wanted EDP intense the best way I can describe it is a soft, white fruity grape juice opening that quickly dries down to a fresh laundry designer like scent that does have notes of toffee that come off in the middle slightly sweet, but still fresh. as this dries down you get more of the amber based DNA similar to stronger with you intensely without the sweetness or eau de Parfum, overall a safe but very smooth and like able dna

Longevity - 9.1/10 this actually cooks the OG, I get about 3 hours of decent sillage, then around hour 6-7 it becomes a full skin scent. Lasting until about hour 9 where it starts to vanish

Overall Cop Or Drop? - if you like designers like MYSLF, TMW EDP Intense, or SWY then this will be right up your alley, when I originally got the OG TMW EDP I had just bought MYSLF EDP so I was slightly disappointed because they were so similar, but I’ve actually came to like this DNA more and this clone fixes the projection and performance issues I had with the OG

Scent - to start this is 95% close to Queening, I’ll break it down in a minute but what I get on the opening is a sweet fruity whipped thick vanilla that has this sugared syrup powdery vibe that I noticed some of Mind Games fragrances have (French Defense being one) it is almost the signature mind games smell most of their sweet fragrances have, after the initial blast the fruity (presumably apple) dyes down to a thick clean t shirt cotton and rum with whipped vanilla vibe, as time goes on it seems to develop into a whipped vanilla and musk, though throughout the whole development you can smell coconut which strengthens throughout the wear being most prominent at the end. Only difference from mind games is I feel this has a touch less coconut

Longevity & Sillage - 8.3/10 projects nicely for 2-3 hours, and around the 5-6 hour mark it starts to become a skin scent fully becoming one around 7 hours in, pretty good sillage for a fragrance with no amber

Overall Cop Or Drop? - I’d say pick this up IF you like vanilla fragrances. Tried a decant and despite the $50 price point I had to grab this, there’s a reason MAISON Alhambra can’t put out scents of this quality and your still saving hundreds

To start when I tried a decant before buying a full bottle I didn’t have high hopes, love original angel shares DNA hate Paradis DNA so I figured I’d just be sticking with the original, this has surpassed both

Scent - 9.6/10 this is about as good as it gets when you want something that smells rich, boozy, and sophisticated while still being wearable in summer, it starts off with that Boozy cognac that angel shares is known for but instantly you get this rich benzoin musk that’s paired with a aldehydic freshness that’s so damn addicting, you also pick up on the grapefruit which I didn’t think would work but pairs like a charm with the angel shares oak and cognac, fuck this thing is so good this is one where I constantly whiff it every 5 mins when I have it on and I tried a decant about a month ago and this has been on my mind since, the musk that comes through is a slightly animalic musk which is new for angel share DNA but it pairs like a charm as well. Overall this is basaiclly a more musky sophisticated angel share that’s bolder then both its counterparts

Longevity - 9/10 I always get good performance with AS dna except with French avenues royal blend seqouia which left me disappointed and feeling bland after multiple wears and maceration, this thing is good right out the box and imagine it’ll only get better with time, which is hard to believe since it’s already so damn good

Overall Cop Or Drop? - This is a Cop if you like angel share but want a more muskier fresh take on the dna, honestly beats the original for me by far and I’m all for it.

Ranked Worse To best, already bought a full bottle of I Have Money and Gladiator because their just that good

Scent - 5.5/10 this is so mid like literally, very herbal with HEAVY lemongrass/grassy, with a squeeze of lemon juice, and yeah that’s about it. The notes actually are what it smells like but damn I thought it would smell somewhat decent, I actually hate this 😆 almost pickle like and doesn’t develop into anything better

Longevity - 6/10 lasted about 5 hours on skin before fully fading, this is a very new bottle so longevity might improve but I doubt the scent will

Overall - 5.75/10 this is such a let down, I loved summer vibes and thought their other LV inspos were pretty good but wow this is a huge let down, get summer vibes over this anyday I honestly don’t ever see myself wearing this

Scent - 8.7/10 to start the scent is very mass appealing, though it’s not fresh like most say, it’s a rich silky coconut with the slightest hint of pineapples some buttery iris and a dark mysterious type of tropical scent, my only issue with it is it’s very linear and even scents Like Hawas Tropical (Paradise Garden clone) develops throughout the wear where this just stays mainly the same

Performance - 6.8/10 this is where this one lacks a lot, for the first hour I constantly get whiffs of it but after that hour mark into 3-4 hours it fades so heavily becoming mainly a skin scent. If it had better longevity id definitely recommend this to more people but I find myself not wearing it very much maybe have wore it 5-6x since last year. There’s just much better

Overall? I’d say if you really like Le Beau Le Parfum grab Hawas Malibu as Tropical has done me right the whole time I’ve used it.

Scent - 8.7/10 to start it opens up with this pear floral freshness that’s very effervescent and bubbly reminds me of Blue Talisman but more sparkly and bright if that makes sense, during the dry down it’s mainly white musk and musky with a pear that lingers in the background. I would consider it more of a soft basic scent but it’s very airy and mass appealing

Longevity - 5.5/10 sadly this one falls short heavy on longevity, projects for a nice 30-45 minutes, then by hour 2-3 it becomes a skin scent. I would even say it performs worse then Afternoon Swim making it the worst performer in my collection, only reason it’s not even lower rated is because the musk that does linger until hour 4-5 is so soft and airy and nice but you really have to dig in to smell it

Skip Or Cop? - in my opinion I would personally skip this if I had tried a decant before, simply due to longevity and projection, I guess if you don’t mind re applying this will be for you if you like pear scents but I’ll stick with my Blue Talisman clones until this gets better longevity (Also Macerated for 1 month and 15 days) no improvements
