The father comes home after a day of manual labor, only to find his little daughter crying from hunger.

He searches the house for his wife, then learns that she has run away with another man.

He goes to a pharmacy to buy Lactogen milk formula for the baby. Holding the packet, he asks the pharmacist, "Brother, how do I feed this to my daughter? Her mother would have known how to prepare it."

Then, with tears in his eyes, he quietly adds, "She ran away with another man."
