hello everyone. I lost one of my best friends about 2 years ago and he was like a brother to me. we grew up together and remained friends for 20+ years. we stopped being friends over a housing situation and his wife just went crazy and I feel like he got caught in the middle of it all. we haven’t reached out but recently I heard his dad has gotten cancer and his parents were like second parents to me always. I’m just in a tough spot. I’ve been wanting to reach out for a few months but don’t know what to say. I kind of want to avoid his dad being sick and just sent a gbwtle text juat related to our friendship cause I don’t want a relationship with his wife at all and she’s burned his friend group to the ground basically over the last 5 years. any suggestions
