Anyone else have this problem? 25 civic hatch. Help pls
I took this video to show the service area guys the sound. I went today and showed the video & turned my wheel there too. I noticed it when I was turning while driving. He tried to say its because i was rubbing the tires on concrete but i hear it everytime I turn the wheel. They said that it was normal & honestly forgot the jargon that they used but they said that with newer cars the sound happens and he hears it with all cars that come in. I told him i didnt hear it when I first got it (last month) and he said i just didnt notice it but I know that I would have noticed especially since I dont drive with my music blasting
He said if it gets louder to go back & get them to look at it again. I would like to know if anyone with a newer model has the same sound everytime they turn their wheel because if not, I will be going back ASAP.
Update: I went to a different dealer & they sat in the car, drove it, heard the noise and said theyre going to check it out and fix it. I’ll let you guys know what it is!
They fixed it! Nothing was wrong it just had to be greased. It was the strut mounts rubbing together
