Dangerous people and taking advantage of disabled people

Hello everyone, I am back home and resting well from the two broken legs. one thing I have had to do is get rid of a carer I had as main carer for two years.

she took advantage of me/exploited x.x like taking more disability funds then should and doing things that was bads like isolating from family members or demonising them. was first carer so i dunno stuffs or am more naive / can't pick up uhhhh bad people well. 😞 is bads and bleh.

i am getting new plan NDIS soon for more help and using morning carer that helps me shower and make sure i takes meds and breakfast but now I might get for dinner time and other help. hopefully day program.

is kinda scary to try and find new carer because i need to have more than one thingy or one support system so that if one fails i has backup for essential stuffs.

kinda makes more scared of new people but I think people at day program will be safe (other disabled people I mean).

have you guys had this happen or stuff similar?

thanks for reading my post :3

Hey all, I posted here because I broke my legs, it has been 7 weeks and I've been walking in moon boots lately, I moved hospital 4 times total which sucked but no more moving and I have my gaming pc here. Walking hurts but they said. that is good. I might be going home soon but when I do I should be getting more help with care and night time carer thing maybe im not sure. I need help at night to brush teeth and have meds and other stuff

7 weeks have gone fast but it has sucked, sharing room makes me want to punch my head, I hope I do not have to again. I have my own room currently. also I got EDS diagnosis confirmed from mum.
