How to get free #AI #models in VS Code with #NVIDIA NIM ?
First step is to create an account on NVIDIA in this link https://build.nvidia.com/ and easily generate an API key. Then, open VS Code and install the #extension #NVIDIA NIM Provider.
Finaly go to the Chat section in VS Code settings, click Add Models, select #NVIDIA NIM, and paste your #API key.
By this you’ll unlock access to several free models, among them #minimax, #LLaMA, #deepseek and others. Some of these #models can be a bit slow… but hey, they’re #free 😅
