Rewatching 'The Three Kings' - makes you proud

At a loose end so decided to rewatch The Three Kings, the documentary about Stein, Busby and Shankly.

What men those 3 were.

Stein winning the European Cup with the Lisbon Lions as well 9 titles in a row,

Busby building and then rebuilding the Busby Babes, ultimately winning the European Cup and

Shankly dragging Liverpool up from the 2nd Division, winning titles and the UEFA Cup, laying the foundations for what that club is today.

Makes you wonder what football in Scotland and England would look like without these 3.

Ferguson, Dalglish, Graham (+ big Dave Mackay) obviously continued the Scottish dominance of English football before our pipeline dried up but the likes of those 3, born within 20 miles of each other, won't be seen again.

It's sad we're not producing world class talent right now but it does make me proud Scotland has had such an impact on the game.
