Which of the 12 Friday the 13th movies has your opinion changed the most on compared to when you first watched it?

When I first saw Part 3 back when I was a kid, I thought it was just okay, not great, not terrible, just okay. I think what threw me off was the lighting of the movie. This is a brightly lit movie, and so it took away some of the atmosphere imo. If I had to rank it back then, I probably would've put it in the middle of the pack. Again I didn't hate it, I just didn't love it either.

However after a rewatch last year, it grew on me more. I'm still not a fan of the lighting. That being said, this movie is really thrilling. Steve Miner does a great job of making the movie feel fun and exciting, especially during the third act. The closet scene is my personal favorite part of the movie, it has great rhythm and momentum. I'd compare it to a roller coaster.

Overall now I'd most likely place this in my top five.
