Girlies are yall buying eid outfits?

At first I wasn’t going to get anything. But I didn’t buy any outfit last eid either so I am thinking maybe I’ll consider buying now. What brands are still delivering?

Budget: 15k

I loveeee republic womenswear’s new collection but each suit is like 30k. For lawn?!🫠

My backups are either yards or getfiona. Pretty reasonable prices.

I also really like the pink outfit by afrozeh but it’s over my budget.

Or should I just let it go?

Girlies recommend salons for hair straightening treatments

Now I don’t know much about these treatments. I came across three that are trending right now: nanoplastia, keratin, and hair botox. My main goal is to have a long term straightening effect but I don’t want to damage my hair. I know a family member who got extenso and experienced the worst hair fall of her life.

My hair type: wavy and frizzy.

I got a keratin treatment once when I came to Pakistan from Tony & Guy. After the first appointment, my hair was so straight and exactly what I wanted. Then came my second appointment, where they applied more products and washed my hair. I was quite surprised by the big difference in straightness compared to the first appointment. There was some communication gap, I guess, because I wasn’t made aware that this was more of a strengthening and frizz control treatment rather than a straightening one. Nevertheless, my hair was still much better than what I started with.

The mistake I made was that my second appointment was one day before my flight. So when I got home and washed my hair all the effects of the treatment washed out. My hair went back to exactly how it was before. And I had followed their instructions about the type of shampoo not to use. I was so angry that I had my cousin go back to the salon and talk to them and they gave the usual response: “This has never happened before,” and all that. They did offer to do it again but I was already in another country lol. Complete waste of money.

So now I’m back in Pakistan and want to experiment again but this time I actually want to get my money’s worth. So your experiences regarding these or similar treatments and salon experiences in general would be much appreciated.

Question for the foodpanda riders/employees

Whenever there is an issue with order quality like a foreign body in the food or an item being missing, I file a complaint and I usually get either a partial or full refund. Today, when my order arrived the rider didn’t give me the drink and I thought the restaurant must have forgotten it. I was taking pictures to file my complaint when the rider called me in a panic. He was very apologetic and offered to come back or pay me himself but of course I refused. I didn’t end up filing the complaint because his panic made me wonder whether all the complaints I’ve filed in the past came out of the riders’ pay. What’s the deal here? Do riders get docked points or does it actually come out of their pay? The only complaint I can think of that may actually be the rider’s fault is when an item is missing, every other issue is usually with the food itself. Even in the latter case, how does foodpanda deal with it if they refund the customer?
