Serious horrible neck/arm pain

I'm pretty sure i had been battling mono for like a month without realizing it and it wasn't only until 3 weeks ago I was told I had mono. I haven't been to work since and I've been doing better since then. But holy shit, I have tbis horrible, horrible neck pain that extends down to my arm and my shoulder. Its absolutely foul, I cant move my neck its stiff from pain and only ibuprofen helps with the pain. Its been like this for 3 days now. Is this completely normal when healing from mono? I looked online and it said it could be meningitis and that really worries me, I've been having all these odd symptoms and it really doesnt help my anxiety disorder in any way.

Possible shingles?

Hello! I'm making a post about what could be possible shingles. Its not for me but for my boyfriend. Just 2 days ago this rash like thing appeared on his arm but in the inner part of his elbow. Its small but looking it up on Google with image search gives me shingles as a result. His mother does suffer with them, and as a child he had chicken pox. Is it possible shingles is only appearing now? He got it checked via phone by a doctor and they recommended him some pills, but hes not sure if the pills they gave him is for whatever the rash is. He hasn't had any other symptoms other than the rash having a slight stinging pain. I read up on that shingles causes headaches, fever, itchiness, and light sensitivity but he hasn't had any of those really. Its really only in that area too, no where else.
