I am on my first rewatch and got really icky at this scene. It's the moment where Aria wants to leave, and Ezra convinces her to stay. "Maybe this torn feeling you have is a good thing?" No. Nononono. "This is us growing closer together" "You have to start seeing me as the person you are closest to."
He is straight up starting his own cult with these quotes. Combined with the forced emotions on his face.
