Transferring schools uncontracted/contracted

Hey all,

Senior in high school planning to do ROTC, wanted to ask if its possible to transfer from one school to another within the same brigade? I've heard that its easy to transfer if you're a noncontracted cadet, but im unsure about if you're contracted.

Thanks in advance!

Transferring between EMU and Umich

Hey all,

Incoming freshman for the fall of 2026 at Eastern Michigan University. Was wondering if anyone has transferred from EMU to umich in the past (LSA specifically, geology) as I'm weighing my options and seeing how to approach my college career.

Thanks in advance!

How intense was the battle of Sihang Warehouse?

Hey all,

I've done some digging into the battle for the Sihang Warehouse in WW2 during the battle of Shanghai. Some people state that it was fairly intense, with Chinese suicide bombers even used, while others state it was a small skirmish and it was used as a major propaganda tool following the battle, and to some extent still used to this day (I'm talking about The 800 movie). So I'm just wondering where the truth truly lies?

Possible fifth year of college

Hey all,

Currently a highschool senior committed to a college wanting to do ROTC. I was wondering that if I switched my major in my sophmore year and if I didn't have enough credits to graduate senior year, could I take a fifth year of college while doing ROTC and do BOLC after my fifth year?

For context, I am a geology major but I may switch over to civil engineering depending on how math and physics go.

Thanks in advance!
