Had a lot of fun putting together this piece with my friend about our predictions for Season 3 of the show! We talked about storylines from this season we hope receive some follow-up, new pairings we want to see, elements of Pittsburgh history the show could incorporate, and then things go off the rails from there. I think it's fair to say that this time last year, nobody could have guessed that Amy Madigan was going to win an Oscar for Weapons. Horror movie, we didn't know anything about the character, and it's not like she has the body of work of a Glenn Close or Sigourney Weaver where you're wondering how could she possibly not have an Oscar already. So with that in mind, I undertook a fun little exercise to try and locate some other actresses in her peer group who deserve the same kind of late-career Oscar-caliber role.
