My friend is looking to get her first set and I said I would help her. She is a beginner. My question is around her height, at 5'9", would you get her a men's beginner set or a women's? I think the driver loft needs to be 12 degrees+ as the swing speed is slower which may be challenging to find in men's sets.

Appreciate any suggestions. Been looking at used sets but honestly for the price people are asking for 20 year old sets I'm leaning towards just getting her a cheap new complete set.
