Two strand twist starter locs
So I just did my first 2 strand twist starter locs. This past Tuesday so just under a week. I don’t really know anything about it. Like at all. My loctician (who’s also my barber and who referred me the medicated products I use now) has been helpful but I probably should’ve asked more questions lol.
My current dilemma is itch. I have a bad scalp. Like takes 2-3 days with my standard fro hair before I need to apply my stuff because I get crazy dandruff buildup. I once traveled without my (medicated) products for 4 days and my dandruff on my hairline was so thick it left a permanent tanline
Can I wash my locs? Will they unravel? Is there a good YouTube video on this? I’ve been looking through tons of advice on here (which has been really helpful btw for a lot of other questions I’ve had) but I think because everyone’s journey is so different I decided to post.
Any advice would be much appreciated! I’ve also attached some photos for reference. I know it looks bad but this is a common look if i don’t apply my products after a couple days.
