I’d like to connect to a person who is creative and artistic. You can be of any age or location as long as you speak English. I’d like to meet someone whose mind is open, explorative, and can stand ambiguity and contradictions without immediately collapsing into certainty. I’m a very introverted person, but I am also a curious and talkative person when I trust you and when we talk about things I’m passionate about. I’d also like to learn more about your passions and values. I think I click best with other introverts, especially if you’re a deep thinker (but it’s not a requirement). As an egalitarian, I do appreciate the mutual effort in keeping the conversation alive.

Here’s something about me and what I’d like to talk about:

Lately I've been spending a lot of time exploring a creative idea and what got me really interested is the movements of consciousness through symbolic, atmospheric immersion. So I sat down and tried many different styles and approaches until I found something that aligned with me. What really got me fired up is the immersive symbolic experiences that explore identity, meaning, mythology, and personal narratives. All those strange places where imagination and reality overlap. I know it might sound too abstract when I explain it like this, but it is not. It’d be great if you also do something creative, so we can talk about it and cheer each other up.

Besides art-related topics, I also like discussing how categories and labels influence our self-perception. It’d be cool if you’re open to talking about personal experience and diving deeper into the web of associations.

I’m really fascinated by the subjective experience and meaning, and the depth of understanding (both ‘the self’ and ‘another’) and how it can be reached through movement of consciousness and genuine connection (again both with ‘the self’ and ‘another’). You know, the moment that makes you feel truly alive. Something like experiencing the Sartrean moment that is only partially shareable through language, and yet jumping into the ocean of abstraction just so you can see what emerges through all that. Or as Thoreau once said “I would drink deeper; fish in the sky, whose bottom is pebbly with stars.”

Is meaningful connection still possible? In the time of modern technology and postmodern values, can we still see a person in the eyes of another? I think about it sometimes, and it does feel discouraging. Here on Reddit, just as it is in life, we meet so many people, yet some of us still end up alone. It happens, right? Yeah, well, I don’t think it’s something we have to accept as inevitable. And I believe it all depends on the intention we carry deep down in ourselves.

I'm 35, from Serbia. I spend a lot of my time reading, writing, exploring spirituality, psychology, tarot, and personal growth. I enjoy deep conversations, but I'm also perfectly happy discussing everyday life over coffee. I'd probably connect best with someone who's thoughtful, curious, kind, and interested in genuine conversation.

For me, I’m really interested in kind of relationship where we’ll truly meet one another. On a deeper level. On a level that goes beyond casual small talk and surface-level interactions. And it’s only possible if both parties are willing to do so.

So let’s be honest with one another. Let’s create a space between us where both of us can feel welcome and encouraged to express who we are. We can ditch all the societal norms and expectations and instead build the connection that is uniquely ours.

So we can start by getting to know one another, first as friends, and see where it leads. I don't like forcing a romantic connection from the beginning as it usually makes people present themselves in the best light, which is unsustainable in a long run. So let’s just be as we are and create a bond that will only get stronger over time.

I'm reflective by nature, an introvert, a nerd, and an eccentric. I can be intense when talking about things that matter to me. I’m not perfect, and I don’t expect you to be. However, if you want us to get to know one another, know that I’m interested in truly getting to know you, and I do want someone who also wants to get to know me. We can explore our inner worlds together. And in fact we’re gonna explore each other’s worlds so much that our worlds are gonna collide and crash and create a supernova that will light up the darkest corners of the universe.
