Don't attach to calmness
Calmness is illusory like everything else. When you attach to calmness as the desired state, you unintentionally create suffering out of other states that isn't calm. The right state of mind is seeing calm and anger equally the same: temporary and empty. Unmoved and not bothered by either, that's bliss.
