ASUS wants INR 50k for a motherboard replacement on my 2020 TUF A17. Worth it or buy a new laptop?

Need some advice.

I have an ASUS TUF Gaming A17 FA706IU (2020 model), bought in mid-2021 for around INR 93k.

Specs:

Ryzen 7 4800H

GTX 1660 Ti

256GB NVMe SSD + 1TB HDD

For a long time I've been getting random BSODs (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, and others). ASUS reinstalled Windows and tested with different RAM and SSD, but the issue still remained. They diagnosed it as a motherboard issue and quoted ~₹50k for replacement.

The laptop still works, but only for 10-30 minutes before crashing and restarting. It's been sitting unused for about 1.5 years now.

My usage is mostly coding, Valorant, Minecraft, and occasional AAA games. I'm not a heavy gamer.

The problem is that a new RTX 3050 laptop costs around ₹75k-90k, and from what I understand, the RTX 3050 4GB isn't a huge upgrade over my GTX 1660 Ti.

Should I:

  1. Replace the motherboard for INR 50k?

  2. Buy a new laptop?
