My doctor is for some reason convinced that Imago’s prescriptions aren’t valid in Norway?

From what I understand, foreign prescriptions in Norway have to be from an EØS country (which includes every EU country), be written on paper with a proper signature and not be a group a or b prescription. As far as I can tell, Imago doesn’t break any of these rules and testosterone is a group c prescription.

If any other trans people in Norway would like to share their experiences with Imago in the comments so I can tell him that I’ve read about others getting their medications (particularly T), that would be great.

I really want to convince him to let me get those blood tests done.

Would I be able to get a prescription from Imago in the meantime and then switch to a prescription from Riksen?

Pretty much just found this sub and heard about Imago through it. I didn’t really know about any private options in Norway before this. I’m currently waiting for my third referral to try and get T (long fucking story) and it seems that you can get hrt much faster through something private like Imago, but it also seems pretty expensive so I was wondering if I could theoretically start hrt with Imago while still going through the long and tedious process at Rikshospitalet and then switch to that prescription cause even if I think they’re pure fucking evil it’s surely waaay cheaper, right? Also I heard from several people on this sub that the process at Riksen is actually faster if you are already on hrt?? If my proposed scenario is possible then that sounds like it’d be pretty beneficial to me.
