Theres too many titles and I'm overwhelmed and confused?
So i called to schedule an appointment for the first time in like 8 years and I know I need meds so I called a psychiatrist right. and the guy asked me if I needed medication management or counseling services and I said both.
then at the end of the call he asked if I was interested in their therapy services. isn't that the same as counseling? don't psychiatrists do that part too? am i dumb? should I have just called a therapist instead?
my new patient appointment is 6 weeks out anyway and that's too long to wait for the wrong type of doctor and I just want to quit and give up
