Cyper TC
hi all, recently had someone (who was supposed to apply an all natural product) use Cyper TC around the “perimeter” of my yard. His perimeter interpretation was about 5-10’ from the fence line so basically all of my yard.
I have young kids and two dogs and feel strongly about avoid having chemicals in the yard where they’ll be playing. I understand the “it’s safe when it’s dry” language of the product but there is the question of how much of the residual dry chemicals and getting on their feet/hands and the being tracked inside.
I know at some point after a few cuts the grass that was sprayed will be gone, but my question is with the soil. From what I’ve read this stuff penetrates the about 3/4” and binds strongly for a significant amount of time. In my head the only way the yard would be safe is to rent a sod cutter and just plant a whole new yard of grass, which I know is extreme.
is anyone experienced with this product and its safety to suggest if the soil beneath the grass would leave a significant residue to get Onto feet and hands etc? I know it seems crazy but I don’t play with my kids and pets safety. this was only applied once with a backpack sprayer, if that matters.
