Bike Lock questions/advice

So I asked this in the actual bikingcommunity and its still not been approved by the mods to be posted yet....I tried searching for the info and no luck so I'mma post it here to see if anyone can help because you all have been helpful.

So I'm getting a new bike. Obviously I want to keep it secure and as reasonably safe as possible.

Catch is I'd rather not have to spend an additional arm/leg just to make sure that's the case. (Not outright refusing, just trying to get the best for my money.)

So far I've looked at the LiteLok X1, along with some other similarly rated products.

One lock has me at an impass though because I can't seem to find any grinder tests for it. And that's the Seatylock Mason Bike U Lock.

Its cheaper than Litelok, but seems to hold a similar Sold Solid Diamond rating. I checked the Sold Solid website and its listed there, so its certainly not a false claim.

In my mind I assume it would in fact be enough for what I need, I won't really be riding my bike into major cities (often). It would be locked up in my shed/house majority of the time and I don't feel I'll be leaving my bike unattended/outsid of visual range for long if really ever.

So some insight would be great, because if the Seatylock is actually viable, it's a heck of a steal given the price of all the other locks so far.

So as it says, I'm new to mountain biking as a whole. As a kid I had one, but also as a kid I mostly rode it around like a road bike and didn't know the difference.

But with that in mind, I do plan to go to actual trails since I'm near a good many and a lot more are within a shortish drive of me. Its also going to be used for hunting season to help me transport things as I need.

That said- I need to know what sort of essential addons are good to have. Tools, protection gear, clothing, etc. My over all plan and goal is to be able to ride on Blue Square (intermediate) trails, not sure I'll go past that just yet. I'm not the biggest thrill seeker.

The bike will also be used for road riding as well, I have decided on getting a Roscoe 7 Gen 4, I was considering a full-Suspension bike but I learned the hardtail would be more comfortable on road/flat surfaces so that's where I've put my focus for now.

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated, or just tips and advice as a whole! Much appreciated in advance.
