Normally I drive a 2014 forester, it’s in the shop so I’m borrowing a 2026 electric solterra. It’s a comfortable drive but the amount of alarms and pinging noises and beeps is so overstimulating. It turns it into a horrible driving experience.

I guess you can get used to it, but even having to turn them off every time you start the car up is a pain. I can’t quite believe that all of this is in the name of safety. It’s so distracting.

Can anyone recommend a barber in the Chablais region? I’m getting desperate. I feel like I have tried them all and they are all pretty bad. The latest one I tried buzzed over my head in 10 minutes a left a complete mess. I know I could travel a bit to Lausanne or Sion but it’s a bit excessive just for a haircut. There must be *someone* nearby!
