Buyers Beware: Jimi Optical Chrome Hearts Lowrider (925 Silver Batch)
I recently ordered a pair of 925 silver Lowrider sunglasses from Jimi Optical for $139.
I wanted to share my experience regarding a major sizing discrepancy and the seller's refusal to resolve it.
The Pre-Purchase Confirmation
Before buying, I noticed the product listing was contradictory. The title claimed the frame was a size 52mm, but a photo in the listing showed size 50mm. Because I specifically need a 52mm lens width, I messaged the seller on WhatsApp to clarify: "what's the size? 52 or 50?".
The seller explicitly replied: "it is size 52" and added that "size 50 is old batch is out of stock."
Relying on this confirmation, I placed my order.
The Discrepancy
When the glasses arrived, they looked and felt noticeably smaller than my other 52mm pair (from Enzoo), both in lens width and height. I pulled out my ruler and a vernier caliper to verify that the lens width measures at exactly 50mm, while the stamped dimensions show 52mm.
The Seller's Excuse & Resolution Refusal
When I confronted the seller with the photos, they claimed that “52mm” is simply a "manufacturer model specification", not the actual lens width, and argued that they supplied the correct item.
This excuse makes absolutely no sense:
Every other piece of eyewear I own has physical measurements that match the numbers stamped on the frame.
Even if "52" was just a model code, the seller had a responsibility to clarify this when I explicitly asked them to confirm 50mm vs 52mm before I handed over my money.
I asked for a fair $50 USD partial refund to settle the spec mismatch - especially since they launched a sale dropping the price by $50 right after I bought them. The seller completely refused, digging into their model specification excuse and making bizarre comparisons to Apple's pricing policies.
So in the end, the seller completely refused any resolution, and I am left with a pair of sunglasses that are too small for my face.
For anyone considering buying these pairs, be aware that Jimi Optical's “52mm” is actually a 50mm frame despite the size stamped on the frame, which would be too small for most men.
Also even if you decide to buy anything else from this seller, do not trust their advertised sizing or text confirmations. Make them send you a physical photo of the frame against a ruler before paying - no the standard QC photos are not detailed enough to pick up these issues.

The first and second images are my measurements, and the third image is from the seller sent to me after my confrontation. All show 50mm.
