Looking at buying my first truck. I want an all-arounder for commuting, camping, and off-roading. I spent a while looking at tacomas, but where I am in Canada, the premium on used tacomas makes them an unreasonable option for me. This 2008 FX4 has 216k KM, or 134k miles on it. The listing is advertising it as "super desirable FX4 level 2", but from my research the last year for level 2 was 2007.

What are some thoughts on this year and make? And on the price point? Any issues to look out for?

Any advice or info would be much appreciated by this first-timer.
