Why is it always framed as "go vegan"

There are hundreds of millions (billions?) of people who eat a mostly or entirely plant-based diet who did not make the conscious decision to "go vegan." Isn't the framework of veganism almost entirely bourgeois moralist choice liberalism? Like we didn't get people to stop smoking indoors by scolding and chastising or moralizing, people changed the society around them and forced people to change their behavior. As long as there are animal products at the grocery store, people are going to buy them, so we need to change society so there aren't animal products in the grocery store. I don't eat meat btw.

The insistence that "there is no 'Death Grips EP'" is really funny in retrospect

now that it's just listed right on their website as "Death Grips EP" and the cover art file is titled deathgrips-ep.jpg. For like a decade or more there was this core group of pedants on this subreddit who would race to correct you if you called it the "Death Grips EP" with "ermm, actually, it was never OFFICIALLY called that it was just released as a zip file yada yada yada" when it's pretty clear in retrospect it was always meant to be a self-titled release. Just 'aving a larf.

It's just Ride not MC Ride

I'm currently researching this for a longer post for /r/veryshallowlistening and correct me if I'm wrong but Death Grips have never once officially referred to Stefan Burnett as "MC Ride." He was called "Ride" in early interviews and promotional material during their more underground era but has largely been referred to as "Stefan" in official material, liner notes etc ever since they released the Money Store.

Again, correct me if I'm wrong but the "MC" aspect of MC Ride is a complete fan fabrication, not an official stage name, and this has been propagated by blogs and music outlets all the way up to the Wikipedia page simply because the band has never bothered to make any statement officially correcting it. Just pointing out this odd phenomenon.
