Theory: Revisiting the season 4 flash forward...

So I think the scene from the season 4 flash forward isn't >!Dev looking hopeful about Kuznetsov station and the future of HIS Mars.!<

>!My prediction: I think it's Dev after being ousted from Helios, charged with crimes against humanity (stealing medical supplies, deliberately destroying food/ag domes and inadvertently killing teenagers/children) and being banished to the far side of Mars.!<

>!He's given a hopper to live in (remotely deactivated) and limited food/supplies (Danny treatment). He prefers it compared to going back to earth to share a cell next to Margo. He also ends up inheriting Ed's ankle monitor after the Russian chairman.!<

>!It would also mirror the season 3 flash forward with Margo being in Soviet Russia (in a way) as well as Danny being banished during Season 4 flashbacks.!<

It makes a lot more sense - especially considering we haven't seen this scene yet, the fact that's >!he's COMPLETELY alone, and that he doesn't really appear to be smiling as if his plan worked out. Just Dev, completely alone, at the edge of Mars, in his own kingdom. He's marooned - or Meru-ed.!<

Russia develops new version of its Su-57 Felon fighter

If this is real, this is the second 5th gen with a twin-seater, after J-20S.

Interesting that the WSO/backseat has such a good frontal view, and the setup looks very similar to what we have on Su-30MKI's.

Also not sure if this is real or not, I know the background is blurred, but it also looks kinda sus.

I really, really dislike how dumb they make the Russians/USSR post S1E3.

Russia/USSR goes from having the lead in S1 with getting the first man/woman on the moon, to then immediately on the back foot in S2 with the Buran failing and requiring espionage. Which is hilarious because in OTL the Buran was actually better in some ways that space shuttle (liquid fueled, orbiter separate from booster engines) but is somehow worse in FAM ATL. Just seems lazy.

This then continues in S3 where their fusion engines fail and they have to rely on espionage, and then make the stupid decision of over clocking their engines. Which is super silly - considering if they just wanted to be first NK proved it could be done with Soyuz level (S2) tech.

I liked the Margo scenes in S4 - atleast that proved why the Russians were on the back foot (political infighting).

& Then we get to this weeks episode where >!they repeat S3 with the Russians/USSR/Kuragin pushing engines too hard or messing up calculations and failing.!<

It feels like the USSR has been on the back foot since the 70's. There's a lot of missed tension between USSR and USA in terms of tech.
