Coilovers installed
Didn’t wanna go too low, had the shop give me sort of a track stance height. I love it!

After a couple months I see the progress I made. I regret not getting a manual when I was younger 😂. After a couple months I stopped stalling so much, can’t lie I stall here and there at red lights (especially drive thrus ) but progressively gotten way better abt taking it slow and smooth rather then trying to be fast for the cars behind me. Grind my gears once. Hasn’t happened again! Hills don’t make me nervous as much but I have yet to encounter a very steep one. Other then that I am practicing my downshifts currently and with the rev match on it’s cake! I do notice some occurring mistakes I still make tho. Going from a stop I have this habit of going into 3rd instead of 1st! Happened a quite few times. Also on the highway I hesitate a lot going into 5th from 4th. Had and incident of me going straight to 3rd from 5th going 70+. Redline lights came on but I quickly came back from my mistake. Other than that I think I’m getting better. Thanks for reading!
Just received my coilovers and been shopping around for rates for an install was wondering what it costed for you to get your coils install? Couple quotes I got from local shops vary to 450-650$ not including alignment. Got a few that was 1k including alignment. Just curious what you guys paid for an install
Question, I have coilovers coming soon and I’m trying to figure out if I need Camber arms/ Toe arms? Is it necessary? This will be my first time lowering a car, just looking for advice! Thanks. Also these are the wheels I’m looking at maybe pair them with 255/35R18 dws06 tires
A little off topic but I’m very new to manual and would love to record the way I use my clutch and shifting. What’s the best way to record my progress to show experienced people for tips/constructive criticism. Thanks!
This is my first manual and I came from a civic sport before this and I have no regrets. I love this car, it feels fast to me especially coming from a 150 hp boring cvt, love the way it drives. Started out not knowing how to drive a manual, not understanding gears or when to shift but everyday has been a lesson for me with this car and at this moment I don’t think I want to go back to auto for a while lol.
Any white 11th gen’s here with some chrome/silver wheels? I love black but I’m thinking of getting silver or chrome to make the car pop out a little bit.
So today I money shifted on the highway. I believe that’s what it’s called. I was in 4th gear going about 65ish and I tried to shift to 5th. I guess I shifted to 3rd… redline lights came on kinda freaked out so I immediately clutch it and put it in neutral and put it in 5th. Was that the correct way to recover from my mistake?
Was debating on getting some D2 springs but went ahead and ordered these bad boys. Would love to see some builds with these on, pictures would be awesome!
I’ve noticeably have been getting more comfortable behind the wheel, I make a couple mistakes here and there but it’s all about the learning process. I grinded my gears once with my dad in the car! A mistake that I learned from, hopefully won’t happen again! I occasionally stall, mostly at a red light (especially if there’s cars behind me). But for the most part I’m getting there. My 1st-2nd shifts are still a bit jerky so I’m trying to get better at making it smooth as possible. I am looking for some advice tho, I’ve noticed when I’m coming up to a stop I start braking and then put the car in neutral to come to a complete stop. Then back in first gear again. Is this a good habit to maintain? Any tips/advice would be helpful!
