Terrifying experience with a taxi driver

(F)I had a very disturbing experience with a red taxi driver in Casablanca this morning and I'm considering filing a formal complaint.

I got into the taxi in the morning. I clearly explained my destination, but the driver took a different route. When I politely questioned him, he became extremely aggressive, started shouting at me, wouldn't let me explain the correct direction, and made dismissive comments. He was visibly angry throughout the ride, spitting out of the window, yelling, and driving recklessly at high speed.

At several moments I felt unsafe because of how fast and aggressively he was driving. I was sitting in the front seat and was being thrown around by the sudden movements of the car. When we got close to my destination, he again changed direction, and when I asked him to take the correct route, he turned the car around very aggressively.

The whole experience left me terrified. By the time I arrived at work, I was so shaken that I burst into tears shaking, and it affected my productivity.

Has anyone in Morocco (especially Casablanca) filed a complaint against a taxi driver before? What was the procedure? Did the authorities actually follow up? I have the taxi number.

Any advice would be appreciated.
