Hello! My dentist gave me a recommendation to get a root canal on one of my teeth, it doesn’t have much sensitivity but he said it would need a root canal and crown based off of what he was seeing.

When I look online it says that crowns aren’t recommended on most canine teeth due to weakened tooth structure that’s more susceptible to breaking. I’d imagine it’s a tooth by tooth basis, but let’s say it’s a minimal root canal needed, would you put a crown on that tooth? Thanks for your time.
