Can concepts be presented here even if they aren't what people normally think of by alternate history?
I have a large world building project and I'm calling it alternate history but instead of different things having happened at actual events, what I'm doing is making new historic events that have happened within the world I made with different ideas and different people that now existed. Does it still count here? Am I not welcome or is there a different sub I should go to?
Example: The Arafura Empire, a large empire succeeding the state of papua new guinea
