Thank you all for sharing!

I recently joined this group my mom (76,F) has early stage dementia (she was diagnosed around 2023) and she still has some independence and we work with a homemaker, but we are approaching the point were I think family care is the best care we can offer for her and I am very overwhelmed. I am a graduate student in the middle of my PhD journey and I am the one that does all of her medical care coordination and I keep track of most things. I have two older siblings but the situation is complicated with them… long story but yeah, I am the one that is most invested in the situation and initiator of next steps.

Reading your posts and stories has helped this week and it makes me feel like, I can do this, somehow! Thank you!
