This is my first post here! I used to read all the time back in high school, like 50 books a year, but now as a grizzled old man at the age of 24 I’ve fallen completely out of the habit. I’ve read maybe five books total in the last five years, and I want to try something new with the goal of reigniting my passion. I’m specifically interested in finding a modern, fictional novel with a bit of edge…drugs, sex, profanity of course! I need something to keep me interested lol. I like horror but I’m not specifically looking for that. I would also love to find something on the shorter side…definitely not a series or like 500+ pages. Any help?
