Top 3 strongest in the verse
So these are the top 3 strongest based on feats and scaling from the manga. (Excluding demon king tanjiro)
Bear with me guys this can be pretty long but I put a lot of thought into this 😃
- Yoriichi
- I dont think I need any explanation as to why yoriichi is the strongest do i?
Yoriichi is able to no diff muzan, give him ptsd and slice his flesh

- Muzan
- No need for any explanation as usual
- Tanjiro post senkai boost after being poisoned and completing sun breathing
- Tanjiro turning his red bright red all on his own after completing sun breathing
For those who are saying that this is not a huge feat at all for comparison, this is iguro's attempt at achieving a bright red blade
In a way this is also a good explanation on how a bright red blade works, basically its just gripping your sword really fucking hard like a vise until it turns red.
Then this is tanjiro solo stalling muzan after all the hashira got knocked out by muzan
Mind you he has been stalling muzan solo for atleast 10 mins before getting saved by iguro, then him and iguro stalling muzan for atleast a good 20 minutes before all the hashira woke up, and even then iguro's being heavily guided by kaburamaru, and having no red blade at that moment which means tanjiros the only one actually preventing muzan from regenerating.
Here's the timeline of the events we actually have a pretty good glimpse at it
1 hr 3 minutes until dawn, this is where the wind, stone, snake, love, water and zenitsu is fighting muzan tryna stall him, gyomei couldnt use his grip to turn his blade red so he rubbed them together to temporarily make it red so muzan's regen slows down
Gyomei:
Sanemi and giyuu
This is all happening within that 1hr 3m
Then this happened
Then tanjiro woke up shortly after this
2nd timestamp that we got
This timestamp is before iguro saved tanjiro, so tanjiro up until this point has been stalling muzan alone for 10 minutes give or take. And actually damaging him.
Then iguro saved him
Then him and iguro stalled muzan for a good 20 minutes after this before all the hashira went up, keep in mind tanjiro's the only one with a bright red blade at this point, actually doing damage, and preventing muzan from regenerating properly.

This is where the hashira's started getting up.
mind you even after all this he's still going... He's still using sun breathing, he's still using a red fucking blade after all this time. He's exhausted enough to the point where he can't even use stw, been fatigue after fighting akaza, poisoned to the brink of death, one eyed vision and he still only just learned the sun breathing fully he hasnt fully refined it yet and he's only 15 years old. That is fucking insane.

Then we got another reminder from muzan that only attacks from a red blade is the only one that can truly harm him

So yea. That's why he is my top three.
Now a lot of you may ask, why didnt i choose kokushibo? And yes thats a fair question but its actually a pretty simple answer as to why,
no 1. Kokushibo just like muzan is extremely weak against red blades.
- The main reason why he couldnt regenerate is because muichiro stabbed him with a red blade. And thats just a single stab. Tanjiro on the other hand extremely weakened and injured is still able to use sun breathing, red blade, and dodge muzan's attack for 1 hour straight. And this is him extremely weakened. No see through world, no selfless state and without even his right eye. He is way above any hashira. Yes even gyomei, giyuu, obanai and sanemi.
no 2. Serious kokushibo's attacks can be dodged by marked gyomei and marked sanemi. Unlike muzan where they all fell in an instant. And you can use the arguement that gyomei and sanemi is already injured in the muzan fight and thats absolutely fair. But keep in mind so did tanjiro. He's way badly injured as a matter of fact. Yet he still held on for a good 1 hour. With red blade, With sun breathing, consistently dodging muzan's barrage of whips.
This is gyomei and sanemi dodging serious koku's attacks the moment they got see through world,
The point of this is kokushibo is not that strong. Especially not compared to the likes of muzan and yoriichi.
