Is AMV editing supposed to be messy?
I'm making my first AMV ever, and it's just splicing clips together to the beat of the music (like this: https://youtu.be/ddXicJ8DK2w?si=B\_y3qb6C24d-LgBw).
It's also 4 minutes long, which I know is a tall order for an absolute beginner, but I wouldn't want it any other way, but I worry that I'm doing something unnecessary when there are easier ways to manage it all.
As for my setup, I am running CupCat on a MacBook Air.
My main concern is...does it need that much storage lol?
I only downloaded two episodes for this amv and it already took half of my limited space and I am also struggling to not get mixed up with clip sequences and such.
Do you people just dump the whole series into the editor and painstakingly stitch one clip to another as you come up with ideas in the process or do you already have a clear vision of an amv in front of you and therefore know which clip to recode and add to it after (like do you do screen recording of a specific moment and add it instead of downloading the whole episode? Is that even a thing?).
Yeah I know I seem like a fool for asking such obvious and easy-to-google questions but I want to be sure If I’m doing this normally
