Do You Make These Mistakes When Trying to Be Disciplined?

Do You Make These Mistakes When Trying to Be Disciplined?

If you know what discipline actually is, you will be ahead of 99% of people because almost all of us get it wrong.

But this is book promotion, right? Yeah, but I promise to provide you with a lot of value in this post alone, so it will be worth reading. As I said in my earlier post, I don't want to be sneaky, which is why I tell everyone this is a book promotion in advance.

Anyways, so what exactly is discipline? If you ask somebody that, they will probably say something like showing up every day.

But if not this, then what?

Okay, I am not against that definition, but it is incomplete. Discipline is the ability to work consistently irrespective of your mood, while constantly improving at what you are doing.

Well, how does this fancy definition help me?

Now that you know what discipline is, you can break it down to create systems, so you can be disciplined without having to watch motivational videos every other day.

So, to be disciplined, you should:

  1. Have a system to track whether you are doing it every single day or not, and track the days you are slacking off so you can fix what's wrong.

  2. Have a plan to constantly improve at what you are doing.

  3. Do things irrespective of how you are feeling, which comes down to your mindset.

Next, I will tell you why people fail at doing this.

But before that, I should let you know my book has systems that take care of #1 and #2, and a full chapter dedicated to #3 about mindset. I bet your mindset will not be the same once you read that.

Anyways, let me keep that aside for a moment and give some more value.

You know, most people fail because they don't get back up after a failure.

Quite ironic, right?

Let me give you one of the two reasons, which is in my book, for why that happens.

And that is:

"They Blame It on Their Personality"

By saying things like:

"I'm not made for this."

"I just don't have what it takes."

"Maybe this is not for me."

And so on.

You should absolutely not do that at all. The moment you link failures to your personality, you close all the doors for moving forward, and your brain starts collecting evidence to not get back up again.

So don't you ever blame failures on your personality.

I go into more detail on that topic in my book.

I know that if you read my book, you will become the person you want to be in no time.

Because it has everything from how to start, what mindset to have, systems to track progress, how to improve constantly, how to keep moving despite failures, and so on.

I have taken courses costing up to $5,000, and not even one of them gave me a complete system to be disciplined and succeed in life. This book gives you a complete system, unlike them.

If you want actual systems which you can apply today to boost your output upto 10 times read this

Warning: Do not read this if you don't want to be in top 0.1% of your field

Before you read further, this is an advertisement. I know you people don't like advertisements, but what you are about to read might change your life, and I don't want to be sneaky, so I am telling you in advance.

If you would like to know how someone if he follows some simple systems can become the top performer of his field... and that too significantly faster than his competitors... then these are going to be the most interesting words you will ever read.

Here is why: McDonald's average time to serve a good quality burger is just over 3 minutes, because of this efficiency they serve nearly 70 million customers daily and generate about $140 billion in sales yearly. Now what's the difference between McDonald's and an average motivated restaurant owner whose burgers take half an hour to appear and still taste like crap.

If I have to break it to you simply, I will say he doesn't have the same systems McDonald's have because if they both had the same systems it will take same amount of time to make those burgers and they will taste the same, no matter who makes it.

The real difference between top performers and everyone else is the quality of their systems, for example there is a simple change in the way you write your goals... which increases the likelihood that you will complete them compared to writing them normally... and even more if you don't write them at all.

Another important thing is mindset: two people can follow the exact same workout plan, but the one who sees pain as growth instead of punishment will outlast the other. And because he stays in the game longer, he eventually ends up in the top 0.1%.

If you have the right systems and the proper mindset/mental frameworks, you can excel at anything you want.

Let me give you some idea of what you are going to get inside:

- How to end procrastination using a system that takes just 20 minutes.

- A powerful mindset to avoid short term happiness and fall in love with delayed gratification.

- How to write your goals so you are far more likely to complete them.

- How to make sure you don't stay stuck at the same level, despite working consistently, using a powerful system.

- A simple mental framework to avoid quitting when faced with a failure. (99% of businesses fail because they start something and quit after 2-3 failures, 1% keep going and dominate the world, that framework makes sure you will be in that 1%).

- How to break bad habits using a practical mental framework and a system to tackle urges when they hit you.

- How to keep grinding when pain/resistance comes while you are doing the work using a powerful mental framework.

- Most people quit when their mind pops a question "Why am I doing this" because they are sacrificing many things in order to build that one thing... a simple mental framework to never quit while facing that question.

- How to build discipline while tracking your progress using a powerful system.

I can keep writing, but you get the point, this book has everything you need to win and win faster.

I have bought multiple $1000 and even $5000 courses teaching systems for success and discipline, and not even one of them had a complete system close to what you will get in this book.

Because it covers everything from how to start, what mindset to have, how to track progress, how to improve constantly, and how to keep moving despite failures.

Most courses teach one or two things and some don't teach anything of value at all. I haven’t seen anyone put the entire system together in one place.

You have two choices

Figure it out alone through years of trial and error, hoping you don't quit before you find out what works.

Or get the complete system now and start outperforming 99% of people in whatever you do.

A powerful mindset to break bad habits

How can I get rid of these habits? That’s a question you ask yourself after doing some shitty thing again, even after you decided not to do it ever in your life, because it is what’s stopping you from achieving your goals. That's why it is called a “bad habit.” Just some time ago you realised why it's not good for you, and made a promise to yourself that’s where it ends, but here you are again, regretting why you did it, feeling shit about yourself, and making a promise to yourself that you will not do it again.

YOU ARE NOT HELPLESS

We tend to label ourselves helpless in front of a bad habit we have built over years and say things like, “It just happened on its own,” or “I am trying hard to stop but it has become a habit of mine.” But that is not the case. You are not helpless. You did it again because, at that moment, you gave more weight to the dopamine hit you were getting rather than its consequences. And that’s the only problem with bad habits. No matter how much you hate it after you have done it, it still feels good at the moment you are doing it.

And the solution is the mindset we talked about earlier. The only thing that should make you feel good is the feeling of greatness, not some dopamine hit. This simple mindset can make you a warrior. You must not allow yourself to feel good when getting a dopamine hit. You don’t have to see it as pleasurable. The only thing you want in life is greatness alone. And this is the difference between a warrior and a mediocre person.

The way to not fall into bad habits is to fill your day with good habits, habits that make you feel great about yourself. Most of you want a reward after doing something worthwhile, saying you deserve it. The only reward you should desire is the feeling of greatness you get after doing a meaningful task, not getting drunk, lazy, or going to a party after taking some steps toward your goal. I am not against all this, but I am against the mindset that you will only feel good when you do dopamine-releasing things.

I also hang out with others sometimes, it's good. But what really makes me feel good about myself is completing my runs, hitting the gym, and studying for hours. It may be boring, it may be hard, but I feel good and I feel great because that’s what I want. I am not hoping for some free time or getting drunk to feel good. I hope to work as hell to feel great.
