so i’m just wondering if anyone thinks this is serious enough that i should get checked bc i don’t have insurance and don’t want to go to the er if it ends up being nothing.
thursday night i got very bad pain on the left side of my pelvic that has just been constant. everytime i moved around and walked it made the pain worse. (i have issues with pelvic pain already but not like this) it was so bad that it kept waking me up in the middle of the night.
friday morning i woke up with pain still so i took aleve, waited 2 hours and it never helped me. later throughout the day the pain would go down to a 5 but mostly stayed an 8.
friday night felt a little better, it finally stopped hurting completely for a few mins but would come back. and ofc last night felt pain that woke me up and im fine rn but i still feel pain here and there. and i’m fine when walking now but sometimes it will still hurt. i’ve looked up my symptoms and im worried its a torsion but i know people who’ve had it say the pain is rlly bad so i feel like id already be in the hospital if it was.

(sorry for long post i’ve never used reddit)little back story, i always get this side pain on the left side of my pelvic, sometimes randomly, mostly during my period. i haven’t had it in awhile or atleast not that bad. tmi but i also notice sometimes when i have to poop my left pelvic area/side hurts a bit until i use the bathroom.anyways i started my period wednesday, horrible cramps i was tearing up, i took 2 aleve, ever since ive been fine. then last night out of nowhere i get the pain on my pelvic. i didn’t take medicine bc i figured it might go away but then i was woken up in the middle of the night with pain and this morning. i took aleve about 2 hours ago now and i am still in pain. i’d say it’s like an 8. when i get up and walk i notice it hurts more. after my nap i woke up on my side which felt slightly better but then when i turned over the pain got so much worse again. i can’t tell if it’s like sharp or dull pain but it has been constant. i have always suspected ive had endometriosis bc my mom has it and i have every symptom of it. which idk if the pain i have is related or if it’s something worse. i went to the gyno only once abt 3 years ago and i told them abt my pelvic pain, she said it was just cyst and that they come and go every period even though i mentioned to her that i have it when im not even close to my period. she just prescribed me birth control which i didn’t take bc i didn’t want to deal with side effects. but i feel like the pain i have now is different then the usual pelvic pain i get. idk if i should go to the doctor or not last time i went to the er for a diff stomach pain which i was balling my eyes out i waited almost 9 hours and ended up just leaving and half the time the doctors don’t take me seriously enough. and im a us citizen in canada rn and i have no health insurance.
